    Delivering applications to support complex and volatile business processes and the dynamic behavior of the people involved in those processes is an extremely challenging, yet very common, requirement for IT. The powerful combination of workflow and rules is designed to address this need. What you will learn:

    ABOUT THE SPEAKER(s):

    Theresa O’Neil is Vice President of Business Development for InRule Technology. Prior to joining InRule, Theresa was an executive at IBM Corporation, where she was responsible for developing product and marketing strategies for IBM’s Content Management and Discovery business. Theresa also led enterprise software marketing at Platinum Technology, where she helped launch a Y2K business. She served as vice president of marketing for storage software firm TrelliSoft and vice president of marketing for business intelligence company ShowCase Corporation. Theresa holds a masters degree in English literature from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of arts from George Washington University.

    Kavita Kamani is a Program Manager in the Connected Systems Division at Microsoft. She is responsible for the rules engine in Windows Workflow Foundation which shipped as part of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 in November 2006. She is also responsible for the Business Rules Engine which is included in BizTalk Server 2004 and BizTalk Server 2006. Since joining Microsoft in 2000 Kavita has worked on products and technologies closely related to the .NET Framework. Kavita holds three academic qualifications including a Bachelors in Mathematics, a Masters in Computer Science from India and an MBA from the University of Washington, Seattle.
