Terms and Conditions
Complimentary Registrations:
Each presenter will receive a full complimentary registration to the co-located Business Rules Forum,
Enterprise Decision Management (EDM) Summit, and Rules Technology Summit Conferences
along with RulesExpo, including the Sunday and Monday tutorials.
Expenses:
Presenters are responsible for all expenses associated with attending the Forum Conferences.
No Commercial Content:
Abstracts will not be selected if they appear to directly promote any products or services, or are of a
commercial nature. Likewise, if your abstract is selected and your submitted presentation appears to be
commercial in nature, the Forum has the right to request that you make the appropriate modifications to
keep your session within the No Commercial Content restrictions.
Proceedings Media:
The proceedings will be made available to attendees through the Forum's websites. By submitting an abstract,
you agree to have your presentation distributed in electronic format.
Copyright Assignments:
You must agree to assign to the Forum the rights to publish your presentations in any version or
translation (including CD-ROM and Online Library), separately or with other presentations. You
must also grant the Forum the right to use your name, photo and biographical information in connection
with your presentation, including for promotional purposes.
Proceedings:
You will receive one complimentary copy of the proceedings of the Forum Conferences and shall be given
attribution credit therein as the author of your presentation. You warrant that all authors are credited
in the presentation, that it contains no infringing or unlawful matters, and that you shall have the
authority to grant the Forum the publication rights.
Taping and Photography:
The Forum may record (audio and/or video) sessions. By participating in the Forum, you consent to such
recording, and grant use of your name, photograph, likeness and company name in order that the Forum
may market and distribute these recordings during and after the events.
Editing of Submissions:
The Forum reserves the right to edit the information supplied in this speaker application for clarity,
consistency and to adhere to space constraints within all marketing and support materials.
